I must confess, I’m not the greatest of writers nor am I the greatest talker; but what I am, is willing to share what God has taught me. I am willing to share what He is teaching me in the hopes of encouraging you. I want to let you know that you are not alone on this journey; that your feelings, thoughts, anxieties, upbringing, proclivities present or past don’t disqualify you from the race. I want you to know that it’s okay to smile & twirl in the rain; as well as cry and need a word of encouragement. My aim is that in sharing the things that God has revealed and is revealing unto me, that you would feel less alone. In a world that tells you your best is not good enough, I want to tell you that God just wants your heart. I want you to see that there is someone else out there striving to live out the Word of God each new day whether in victories or losses, but never in accepting defeat. Hi, I’m Candace. Fun fact about me is that I love working out. I mean there are days that I ask myself why am I torturing myself, but then my body does something it could not do before and I remember why I started.
Typically, I am a very private person. However, I now feel God pushing me to step out of my comfort zone; to do it afraid. I mean when God says to do something, I better do it. I have run enough times to know that eventually I will have to do it, I mean look at Jonah. LOL.
I love my family, I love my friends, I really like my day job, I am grateful for my church family, and am thankful for my god kids!
