THE MISSION: To unite women all around the globe to Unity, Passion, and Purpose in Christ!
I am the product of a praying grandmother and a praying mother. I have created Blossoming Me because my mother introduced me to Christ, modeled the example of a woman of faith, provided me opportunities to encounter the love of Christ, and instilled in me a heart for others. For that, I am forever grateful.
Life taught me the importance of mercy and grace, which I have so desperately overused. In all honesty, growing up in the church and loving Christ has not excluded me from my fair share of mishaps and hang ups; some of which I’m not so proud of. What I have learned in all of my mistakes is that God’s grace is sufficient for me; he uses the parts of me that are not so pretty to bring glory to His name. I have learned and continue to learn what love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness means because, I have needed it over and over again. What I have ascertained is that although I’m undeserving, God still says I was worth creating, that I am worth loving, being kind too, and worth dying for. Therefore, I owe Him my life. My goal is to fulfill the intent in His mind for why He created me; I don’t believe I can do that without pouring out what He has poured into me, and sharing what He reveals unto me.
So here goes. I hope that this safe space designed for women, designed for you; leads you on the path toward Christ. My hope is to encourage you to keep pushing despite the obstacles and roadblocks in your way, despite the voices in your head telling you you’re not worth it or you have messed up too many times. No matter how many times you have failed… God still has a plan and purpose for you; my aspiration is that we can find it together. My mission is to unite women all around the globe to “Unity, Passion, and Purpose in Christ”.
The
Beginning
I have always desired to have a women’s small group. I remember praying about it when I was in high school. I wanted to encourage other women. I had a specific thought in mind but little did I know God’s plans for my vision were far beyond what I was thinking.
Where did the name Blossoming Me come from?
As I travel the road of life there have been many different seasons and of all the years, I now can truly see the fruit in 2020. The fruit of past digging and planting and watering and re-digging and re planting and re watering. I’m Blossoming and not just me, US.
As women we were created to Bloom; to flourish in youthful beauty, freshness, or excellence, to produce. When in Bloom, flowers are Blossoming. A Blossom is “a flower or mass of flowers, especially on a tree or bush.” We are connected to The Vine, we are the branches… when we are walking in unity with the Father, connected to our Passion, and walking in Purpose we are Blossoming. We won’t just Bloom once, we will Blossom continually and together in Unity! Blossoming Me, Blossoming Us!

Hi, I’m Candace! I am an energetic follower of Christ. I have a passion for all things God. I am a social worker by profession. I absolutely love children and working out is my favorite pastime.
