Friends, as believers we believe the Bible is correct, right? Like not just the nice fluffy feel good blessings parts; but the commands, truths, consequences part too.
In this world there will be lots of competing thoughts from what we see on TV or on social media and occasionally within in our friend/ religious groups. There will be lots of things we hear from bright scholars, pillars in the church, and those we work with that are contrary to what the Bible says.
If we believe that the entire Bible is correct and are following Christ, then we have to stand on that even if it’s seen to be politically incorrect. Even though God is love, He also has standards of holiness, grace, compassion, forgiveness, and lifestyle that we all are instructed to abide by.
In a world that condones wrong and demoralizes what we as believers stand for; stand strong. Our walk with Christ is not based upon our feelings ie. Today I feel He is good because my life is going well or I don’t feel like praising Him today because this didn’t go my way. Our walk with Christ is a faith walk. It is beliving God is who He says He is, He is going to do all that He said He would, everything written in the Bible is true, and everything that is said in the Bible happened or will happen just as it is written.
I want to encourage you on today to stand strong. Don’t let the pressures of life or your feelings get in the way of what God says is right and wrong; of what God says is good or sinful. The world likes to change little subtle things until you realize it’s bigger than you thought.
Don’t dim the light that is within you by compromising your faith and the standards of the Faith. Read your Bible. Know the Word of God for yourself so you can stand against the enemies schemes. Put on the whole armor of God. Don’t water down His truth by adopting part of the worlds standards.
Find out Gods heart, don’t skip over the convicting parts. Allow HIM more space to transform the way you think, the way you love, and the way you respond. I pray you have a blessed day in His presence.
